Sarit Centre is the original Westlands mall — opened in 1983 and significantly expanded with a 2018 redevelopment that added the Sarit Expo Centre and Sarit Hotel. Westgate Shopping Mall opened on Mwanzi Road in Westlands in 2007 and is anchored by Carrefour with around 80 retail tenants across four floors. The mall holds a Cinemax cineplex, a popular kids’ play area, the Tribe Hotel, and a busy Saturday food and dining cluster. Westgate is one of the two flagship Westlands malls alongside Sarit Centre.
